- Covers various energy availability and price scenarios driven by peak oil, carbon constraints and emerging technologies. Examines strategies for mitigating energy and carbon risk.
- Sustainable Design Principles
- Looks at the basics of sustainability, low energy and livable building design. Includes the principles of material life cycles and
- Energy and Energy Efficiency
- Covers the principles of energy and Energy Efficiency. In particular it looks at the potential cost savings available from implementing simple changes to operating procedures and by making minor capital upgrades
- Understanding Carbon Markets
- Examines the basic instruments for creating and trading in carbon and renewable energy markets. Includes economic, social and political factors involved in pricing and price volatility
- GHG Accounting
- Using the GHG Protocol examines the principles of calculating a carbon emissions inventory by reference to national greenhouse factors and calculation methods.
Current Courses.
ACXargyle has no currently scheduled
courses or Seminars as of this time.
Organisational based workshops can be arranged at short notice depending upon other scheduling.
Carbon Accounting courses co-presented by ACXargyle are currently running via the National Centre for Sustainability (NCS) at Swinburne University.
Other Carbon Management subjects will be on
offer at the NCS early in the new year (2010).
